1) All the chair does is recline. The boom is static, it does not move out of the way when you want to get in or out of the chair, so the only way to access the chair is from the left side. The left arm rotates 45 degrees out of the way. You then have to step over the oval bar at the base of the chair and slide in from the left. It also reclines very slowly.2) Low weight limits. The Engineers overly padded the numbers and I believe the manual said something like 100 kilos. The chair functioned fine with my 350lbs friend sitting in it, though it was very difficult for him to slide in and out of the seat. This chair was not intended for large people. With the leg rest sticking out in front of the seat a few inches, it seems it was not intended for short people either.3) The stock monitor mount is limited to 19lbs. It is also proprietary. The chair is suppose to be elite in every way, however, the best monitors can weigh up to 50lbs and most gaming rigs include additional small support monitors. It is very difficult to install after market monitor mounts on the boom.4) The chair is not comfortable. The leg rest is round making it difficult to keep both legs up, and it only supports the leg instead of the ankles. When in the down position, the leg rest is a few inches in front of the seat, making it impossible for all but the tallest person to set all the way back. The seat is also very hard. Even with cushions, we could not find anyone who did not have comfort issues after 1 hour. The attached neck pillow has a limited up and down position. At 6ft tall, the pillow ends up in the middle of my shoulders and would not raise any higher. I ended up ripping it off the seat, just so I could use the chair.5) The cables are crap. To plug in your mouse, it has to attach to a very loose female to female jumper, that connects to an extender, that attaches to a 4 way mount at the base of the chair, that then needs another extender to plug into your PC. That is an insane number of connections for any performance device. Finding a fail point would be impossible as many of these connections are not accessible without disassembly. The quality of the cables are also below the price point. Especially the HDMI and Display port cables. It is about 15ft from the monitor to the back of the chair. Anyone who bought this chair will likely have a PC worth showing off as well, so add 10 more feet outside the chair. At 20ft to 25ft the cables should be powered or optic for performance. Additionally there needs to be a dedicated USB cable at the monitor for High Res cameras, and it would not hurt if the chair had a dedicated mic mount.6) Poor Wire Channels. Literally there are inaccessible cutouts in the bulk heads for wires to pass through. Fishing wires through the substructure is the worst. The design assumes that all wires are routed during assembly, so to add a wire you have to take the chair apart. It is very difficult to swap a wire out using the old wire as a lead because they get caught on every bulk head. Additionally, the routing point around the Zero-G pivot are extremely tight. Wires will wear-out significantly faster along the pivot because of this design.** Summery **This chair was designed to look good from a distance. It takes up the same space as a dining room table and the comfort level is so low that you are not going to want to sit in it for long periods of time. The cables and monitor mounts are NOT intended for quality PCs or Monitors. It is not a gaming chair, it would not appeal to a business professional as a workstation, and it is not comfortable enough to use as a personal home entertainment system. The price point far exceeds the quality and function.Only buy this chair if you plan on putting an additional $1000 to $2000 into making it viable.
