My thoughts so far:Upon receiving my headphones earlier this week, I immediately went to test them on the ps4. The sound is very good. Blocked out those that were sitting around me. Please note, this is with the in-line amp.Fit:At first, putting it on felt awkward. It felt like the headphones were sitting on the back part of my head and would fall off at any time, but I got used to it. They never fell off. And now I enjoy how they fit. They're comfortable. I haven't worn them for hours at a time yet, because I usually get up and get something to drink, or some reason or the other, so I can't tell you if it'd be a problem, but so far I haven't had any moments of discomfort. The headband feels like it's a little too long, so I won't be extending it out anytime, but the cups stay over the ears well enough that they really don't fall off. My friend has a slightly bigger head than I do, and had to extend it out, and he had no complaints about how they felt. I like the cushiony feel.Sound:The headphones aren't as good without the amp, and I probably wouldn't brag about them to anyone until I was using it on the ps4, instead of my PC. They're really loud, and I think that's where my problem (see below) stems from. I use additional software with it now so that I can enjoy it on my PC. Not saying that you can't without it. This was just my personal choice. As for on the PS4, amazing! I really love how they sound. But again, that's with the amp. Life without the amp, not as great, but not terrible. Still sounds good, but the static...Wire:The wire is very long for me, but I don't have a huge living room. I can choose to sit just about anywhere and the cable reaches me, but at some point, I worry someone will try to crawl over, trip and end up breaking something. So yeah, it might not be long enough, if you plan on using the amp. If you're like me and you sit close to the TV, then heck (this is not advised btw!). Otherwise, just using the headset cable by itself works nicely too. Not as great, but still pretty decent. The first wire is very short. Definitely for having the controller right in your hands. If you move a lot, it works out. It has a decent length considering it comes with more.Amp:The in-line amp, at first touch, I felt like I was going to break it. It hasn't broken though. As portrayed, it has bass, treble, and mic mute and unmute. I really hate hearing myself, so in the silence, I usually just mute it. When I was trying to unplug the headphones for the first time, I swear everything was gonna break off. I freaked out. The 3.5 really gets deep into the in-line amp and it's hard to take out unless you pull on the cable. That's going to be troublesome at some point I bet. I managed to haul it out twice already, but I worry I may not be so lucky every time. Maybe I'm wrong.Problem:So far I've mostly been using it on my PC, and I noticed there's a static every time something abruptly happens, like an error message for windows will come in with the static, and it'll stay for a while then go. Last night it got really bad that I had to lower the volume for everything. Was worried I already broke something but I remember someone else complained about the same. All in all, aside from the static, and the getting used to it factor, I enjoy these headphones. I don't think my other choice would've been as pleasant, but who knows. Maybe you see something with higher ratings and better reviews. I'll stick to this one. In it for the long haul ;) Keep you updated if anything else happens.I bought this to replace a cheapy headset I bought a while ago. I have a rather large head and these are more comfortable than my previous set and actually cup my entire ear. They are still a bit more snug than I prefer, but for the cost, quality, and frequency of use, Im happy. Im also very happy with the sound quality. Bass response is pretty impressive. I have not played with my EQ yet to dial them in further, so it will only get better.I have yet to use it on my ps4, but it works great with my PC. If you want in-line volume and mute control, you will have to plug in the usb dongle. Win 7 detected it and auto installed drivers and it works great. I can also use the headphone jack on my Logitech speakers, which is what I will probably end up doing unless I am using the mic. This is because I have to manually switch between this or the speakers if I leave the usb dongle plugged in and Im too lazy to unplug this from the back of my computer. Also, if you want to use the mic on a PC, you will have to get a 3.5 MM splitter to separate the audio and mic lines ($6 from amazon). For the cost, this is a very nice headset and Im very happy with it. I just wish I had a smaller head.In my opinion definitely worth the 50$. It's probly worth 80-100$ which is great. There are only two bads to this product. First one being that there is no two individual switches for chat and game volume. Just one overall volume and bass boost which can be a pain but the bass boost really does help and is great. Second bad and only other is the fact that every time you talk you get this pfft noise that I can explain but you'll get it when you see it. This can be prevented but it's hard because you have to keep moving the mic until you find the perfect position. People can hear it easily when you take this headset on or off and when you're touching it. Also, this is good or bad but it picks up quite a bit of background noise unless you change your chat settings on ps4 down. All in all it has great sound quality but some left to be desired on the mic quality. I recommend this but also recommend turtle beach as a whole. Great company!! As a gamer and a every day user. P.S. great on your phone for videos and music!I give this headset 4 stars because the bass on your phone is great, I can hear footsteps if the enimies R near ( in BO3) but I took one star off because the HDMI cable that came with it didn't work....wen I connected it to my ps4 and my headset, it wood hav the left side only work and not the right....but it works fine by just plugging it into the controller and still sounds good but u just can't control baseboost and that stuff..the headset had many reviews about it being weak but I find it average for me and i hav an average head i think (7 and 1/2 hatsize)but I've only had it for like a month and it has a great mic is what my friends say but I will update if anything goes wrong..overall great headset for a low price. P.S people said they dropped theirs on hardwood and it broke but I HAV a cement basement and I droppt them and they were unfazed.....so ya good luck!!This was a great deal, bought them for 26 dollars.Pros: great sound, nice build, great price, detachable mic, you can hear your own voice,Cons: wired, i was getting headaches the first month (they were too tight), they will break,For 26 dollars is a great deal, they broke after 6 months, on one of the sides, but you can always repair them, after i fix them (put some glue and i inserted the broken part to the upper headsett, and they are working great, dont even look broken or anything, but you can only pull the other side of the headsett to regulate the size) they have been working fine, im buying one of the sonys headsets now, just because i want a 7.1 headsett, but this are still working, so ill give them 4 stars because the sound and features are amazing, but they will break, but for 26 dollars it was a grat deal, now if you gonna pay 70 dollars, even 50 dollars, you better stay away from this.I bought this headset to replace the free earpiece that comes with the PlayStation 4.I was in the market to buy a cheap stylish headset although back when i bought it which was in mid-August of 2015 the price i paid was a lot cheaper, I paid £26.00 for my product. The build quality is cheapish, all plastic with rubbery ear cups (which are soft). After about 5 months of, In my opinion daily use the plastic slider snapped, having said that the mic quality and sound quality remains the same, which is very good in my opinion. The mic is also removable which is a perk.I take great care of all my belongings , but after everyday use i guess this was inevitable, for the price i paid i would recommend it but with this new price i would advise you to maybe look into a different headset as this just isn't worth the money for a daily user.Excellent price in comparison to other Turtle Beach headsets that allow game and chat audio. I will have a happy 14yr old on Xmas day!Update Nov 2016. The headset has now snapped (as i see other people's headsets have) Won't glue or fix and after paying £28 when i originally bought them I am reluctant to replace them at the current price. Need to look for alternative headset that has game and chat audio ?Great sound quality when bought for around £20 however the headband of my first pair seem to snap after 6 months of use. Maybe my head was too big or there was a weakness, but I really liked using themFor £30 you can't really complain tried them for about an hour or so. sound great and I found them comfortable no ear ache very easy to set up tooJust got this for my PS4 and they are excellent. Not many headsets have the quality of this one for this price. Even for a stereo headset it almost sounds like a 5.1 . The mic is detachable and it has great quality. The earcups are made from a good material and you hardly feel pressure on your head. You can easily play 3/4 hours straight. All in all for this price i definitly consider this the best headset to buy...
